Acquisition and use of personal information from our customers

Information we receive from you helps us to organise our service for you individually and to continually improve it. We use information received from our customers for the management of orders, the supply of merchandise and performance of services, including payment transactions (in the case of purchase with credit, also for necessary checks). We also use your information to communicate with you on the subject of orders, products, services and marketing offers (see communication by e-mail below) and also to update our data records and to maintain and update our customer accounts in our company.
We collect information as follows:

(1) Information that you give us:

We record all information that you provide on our website or which you have communicated to us by other means. You can decide to withhold certain information. However, this may mean that you will not be able to use many of our offers (services/features).

(2) Automatic information:

As soon as you contact us, we receive and save certain information. Among other things, we use -- as do many other websites -- so-called "Cookies" and receive certain information as soon as your web browser opens our website. Software is offered, which allows you to visit websites anonymously. Although we are no longer able to offer you an individualised buying experience if you make use of such techniques, we would like to inform you of this option because we believe you should be able to determine yourself what kind of, and how much, information you wish to pass on to us.

Does henze team pass on information received to third parties?

Information on our customers is important to us and helps us optimise our offer. However, our business does not involve the sale of customer this customer information. Information we have received is passed on to third parties solely in the scope described below:

(1) Partner companies that are not controlled by henze team:

We work closely with our partner companies. In some cases, these companies run their own shop at henze team, or they sell you their products via henze team. In other cases, we run the shops for the companies and perform other services, or offer products, together with these companies, or on their behalf. You will always know whether a third party is involved in transactions and whether we pass on information about the transactions to this partner.

(2) Service providers:

We commission other companies to fulfil tasks for us and perform services for you. Examples include package delivery, sending of letters or e-mails, updating of our customer lists, analysis of our databases, advertising measures, payment transactions (credit card, direct debiting and purchase with credit) as well as customer service. These service providers have access to personal information required to fulfil their tasks. However, they are not allowed to use this information for other purposes. Furthermore, they are obliged to treat this information in accordance with this data protection declaration and to comply with the German data protection laws.

(3) Campaigns:

Occasionally we will send offers to selected customers and/or customer groups, also on behalf of other companies. When this occurs, the company receives neither your name, nor address, nor any other identifying information. If you do not wish to receive such offers, you can state this on your order, or simply send us an e-mail.

(4) Protection of henze team and third parties:

We will pass on customer account and personal data when required to do so by law, or when such a transfer is required by our General Terms and Conditions of Business, or to protect our rights, the rights of customers and those of third parties. This also includes data exchange with companies specialised in the prevention and minimisation of misuse of credit cards and fraud. We expressly draw your attention to the fact that this data transfer to these companies has no commercial purpose which would contradict this data protection declaration.

(5) With your consent:

In all other cases, you will always be informed when personal information is to be passed on to third parties and we will seek your consent.

When personal information is passed on, we always ensure that the data transfer complies with the provisions of this data protection declaration and the German data protection laws.

What options do I have?

As described above, you have the option of declining to pass on information, although this could be necessary for purchasing or for using services.

You can inform us at any time, by e-mail for example, if you no longer wish to receive e-mails or posted advertising from us.

If you have any questions on data protection at henze team, please write to use -- as concisely as possible -- and we will try to clarify your misgivings.

Our business is constantly changing. Similarly, this data protection declaration and our conditions of use are constantly changing. We reserve the right at certain time intervals to send you notifications of the guidelines which apply in our company. In any case, however, you should regularly visit our website and inform yourself about the changes. Unless an agreement has been made to the contrary, the use of all information we have on you and your customer contacts is subject to this data protection declaration. We assure you that we will make fundamental alterations to our data protection declaration, which would lead to weaker protection of the customer data we have already received, only with the approval of the affected customer.

We expressly draw your attention to the fact that you have the right, within 2 weeks after receipt of the goods, to cancel the contract in writing or by e-mail. To exercise the right to cancel, it is sufficient to send an appropriate letter of cancellation to the following address within this period:
